About The Creator

Hey there! My name is Tara, and I am the creator of Flowers Of The Press. I was born and raised in Utah at the base of the most beautiful mountains, where I ran around gardens and forests with my mother, looking for flowers and leaves to press between books. Now here I am, living my childhood dream of being a florist- a pressed flower florist! My first pressed bouquet was a gift to my sister after she got married in 2020. From there, I started with preserving the flowers of my close friends and family members. Three years later, I am surrounded by the most lovely team of close friends, and we work to preserve memories from people all across the country.​I am currently finishing up my last semester as a student at Utah State University studying Outdoor Product Design. I hold sustainability close to my heart, so we work hard to put that at the forefront of this business. Our designs mimic the wild, airy, and beautiful things Mother Nature has given to us, called flowers. We believe that flowers can hold onto memories, so we are here to help you hold onto your flowers forever.

We believe that Mother Nature knows best. Here at Flowers Of The Press we do not use any sort of preservatives or chemicals to preserve your flowers. This means that yes, the colors will fade overtime, but the memories will not. You can feel good knowing that your final piece is not only a work of art from us but has it's natural touch as well.

Sustainable

This is three fold. First, we are proud to announce that our packaging uses 100% recycled or sustainable materials. We also offer a sustainable shipping kit so you can feel good about shipping your flowers to us without them ever touching plastic.

Second, all of the material and supplies we use during the preservation process are reused weekly, our glass cleaner is made with chemicals safer for human health and the environment, and our frames are made with wood that is from a FSC certified mill.

Third, we believe that one of the best ways to be sustainable in our lives is by purchasing products that will last a lifetime. We have worked hand-in-hand with a local framer to design a final product that will last forever.
