    Delegate Shipping

    If you're preserving florals from a wedding, we suggest putting a trusted friend or family member in charge of sending us your flowers so that you can just enjoy your big day.

    Gather Supplies

    If you you purchased your preservation 14 days in advance, you can purchase a sustainable shipping kit full of all of the supplies that you will need! Or you can gather all of the materials at your local shipping store (details below).

    Enjoy the Event

    We believe that flowers can hold onto your memories... so you have to make some memories for them to hold! Take time to admire the flowers in the moment.

    Water Your Blooms

    After the event, if you have a bouquet, you will want to give the stems a fresh trim and put then in water. You can also place your florals in a fridge to keep them cool until you are able to ship them out.

    Prep & Pack

    Carefully package your blooms, making sure to reference the tutorial video below frequently.

    Ship 'Em Out

    Ship with next-day or two-day delivery! Reference below for more information on where to ship. You can use USPS, FedEX, or UPS (our favorite).

    Wait It Out

    Once you ship out your flowers, send us the tracking information at hello@flowersofthepress.com. We'll email you by the end of the day when you flowers arrive at our studio.

Please take note of when your package will arrive! We just recently moved and want to make sure your flowers end up in the right spot. We do offer Satruday delivery but it is a different location so please be aware of that change! If you ship to our regular studio address for Saturday arrival we will not be able to receive them.

Final Takeaways


You MUST ship your flowers with next-day or two-day delivery. You can ship with UPS, USPS, or FedEX but we prefer UPS as they handle their packages the best. If they ask you for early delivery or have it delivered by a certain time, you can just choose the best price. If you flowers get to us by 8am, noon, or by end of day it will be all the same. Click here for USPS and here for UPS shipping calculators. The smaller the box the cheaper it is. Try to stick around a 12x12x12" and the lightest weight possible. (Aka don't include a glass vase in your package.)

-Make sure to open the shipping kit a few days prior to your wedding so you can place the icepack in the freezer.

- If your event is on a Saturday or Sunday, shipping your flowers on Monday will be totally fine. Just keep them in water until you can send them. Do not package them up until you are on your way to send them.

-Do not put a bag or any sort of plastic near the blooms! Just one bag around the stems please.

- Please print out our shipping slip below and fill out all of the needed information! If you do not print out the slip, place a sticky note or a piece of paper inside of the box with the order number, event date, the name the order was placed under, and your phone number in case we need to contact you. *TIP* It's best if you tape this paper to the inside of the box so our team can easily find your order information and process your flowers.

- No need to require a signature on the delivery, we've got it covered. 

- When you ship it, send on over the tracking number so we can keep our eyes on your package.

-We will send an email to the email address that the order was placed under, within the day when we receive your flowers.

Supplies Needed If Shipping Kit Was Not Purchased

​All of these can be found at your local shipping supply store & grocery store!

- A cardboard box - We recommend a 12x12x12 to keep the price reasonable
- Packing peanuts/kraft paper wrap (NO PLASTIC PLEASE)
- Ice pack - You will need to freeze this ahead of time.
- Rubber bands
- ONE plastic bag
-Paper towels
- Packaging tape
